Finger Lakes Soccer Club
Competitive travel soccer for boys and girls, U9 through U18, built right here in the Finger Lakes.
The name says it: Canandaigua means "the chosen spot" in Seneca. FLX SC keeps that home base while welcoming players from communities across the region.
If your family is anywhere in the Finger Lakes and looking for a competitive place to play, you have a home here.
Looking to join FLX SC for 2026–27? New players are welcome at a free evaluation. When an age group has more than one team, evaluations are how we place each player on the right team. Find your age group's time below.

New for 2026–27: U.S. Soccer moved age groups from the calendar year to a school-year window — August 1 to July 31. The ranges above are each group's birth window under the new cutoff.
Pay in full by August 1 to lock your Year-Round spot.
Competitive registrations close October 1.
Spring Start and Outdoor registrations close November 30.
After this date, registration fees are non-refundable as teams and rosters are finalized.
FLX SC is the new identity for CASL's travel program — same community roots, a sharper purpose. Four goals drive everything we build.
Bring more kids into the game and build a stronger soccer community across the region.
Develop players who go on to lead their high school teams — and keep our area programs competing for Section V titles year after year.
Competitive soccer shouldn't price families out. Tiered options keep it within reach, whatever level you commit to.
Whether you just love to play or you're chasing the next level, there's a tier built around your goals — not someone else's.
Four steps from evaluation to kickoff. Evaluations only matter when an age group has more than one team — your tier is always your choice.
New players are welcome at a free evaluation (July 11, 18 or 25). When an age group fields more than one team, evaluations decide which team a player joins.
Pick the tier that fits your player and family, from full Year-Round to outdoor-only. The level of commitment is your call.
Lock your spot by your tier's deadline — Year-Round by Aug 1, Competitive by Oct 1, Spring Start & Outdoor by Nov 30.
Training and games get underway as the 2026–27 season kicks off.
Teams are finalized in January, when our roster counts are due to the league (RDYSL). We hold off until then on purpose: setting teams earlier hasn't served families well, because plans change — and an early roster can mean reshaping several teams at once when they do. Waiting until January lets every family commit with confidence and keeps rosters steady heading into the season.
That's also why registration becomes non-refundable in January. Once rosters go to the league, every spot is counted on, and filling one that opens up late means recruiting and re-placing another player — which takes real time and cost. The deadline keeps things fair for the families and teams who've already committed.
Pick the level that fits your player's goals and your family's schedule. Spots are confirmed when payment is received by the deadline for that tier.
Indoor winter sessions are held at FLX Turf. All tiers play RDYSL games mid-May to late July.
Payment plans are available for every tier — and need-based scholarships can help cover the cost so no player misses out.
Uniforms are a separate cost (about $125) and aren't included in the tier price.
